Every year, the Bangladesh Society of Microbiologists (BSM) proudly joins the global scientific community in celebrating International Microorganism Day (IMD) on 17 September—a day dedicated to honoring the remarkable world of microorganisms and their vital role in health, environment, and industry.
This year, the celebration is being hosted by the Department of Microbiology, Dhaka International University (DIU) in collaboration with BSM, featuring a vibrant line-up of events designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and scientific engagement.
