Who Can Participate?
- Graduates in microbiology or allied disciplines are eligible to participate.
- Undergraduate students may also present their research under faculty supervision, provided their abstracts are accepted by the Scientific sub-committee. Only the presenting undergraduate author can register.
- Undergraduate co-authors will be notified later to register and attend the program based on availability.
Registration Fees (For day 1, only)
- Students (BSM associate or general members since January, 2025): Tk 2000
- Other Students: 2500/3000
- BSM Life members: Tk 4,000 (Early Bird) / Tk 4,500 (Regular)
- BSM General members (Professionals, members since December, 2025): Tk 4,500 (Early Bird) / Tk 5,000 (Regular)
- Non-member Professionals: Tk 5000 / Tk 5,500
- Foreign Professionals: USD 300 / USD 350
- Foreign Students: USD 200 / USD 250
Registration Fees (For day 2)
Only participants registered for day 1 are eligible to register for day 2.
- BSM life and general members: 1500 (Early Bird) / 2000 (Regular)
- Non member Students (Bangladesh): Tk 1,000 (Early Bird) / 1500 (Regular)
- Non-member Professionals: 2000 (Early Bird) / 2500 (Regular)
- Foreign Professionals: USD 30 / USD 40
- Foreign Students: USD 25 / USD 35

Please note, the link for abstract submission and registration is the same. If a participant’s abstract is not accepted and he/she want to withdraw their registration, the registration fee will be returned to the participant.

Bangladesh society of Microbiologists (BSM) was established in 1976 with a view to promote microbiology education and research in Bangladesh. The goals and objectives of the society are to bring together the microbiologists working in different fields and share their experiences and ideas so that they can contribute to the development of this nation in a more coherent and organized manner.
