This year, BSM will celebrate the event on\u00a0<strong>16 September 2025<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<strong>2:30 PM<\/strong>\u00a0at Dhaka University, in collaboration with the Department of Microbiology, University of Dhaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are honored to announce that Professor&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Tahmeed Ahmed,&nbsp;<\/strong>Executive Director of icddr,b and a distinguished member of&nbsp;<em>TIME\u2019s 2025 TIME100 Health List of Global Health Influencers<\/em>, will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Ahmed will share his scientific journey, pioneering contributions to microbiome research, and career progression as a scientist\u2014an inspiring narrative for all attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure wider participation, the event will also be <strong>livestreamed online<\/strong>.
